Equal Employment Opportunity Statement

Last Updated:

Our Commitment to Equal Opportunity

TeamBuilt Talent LLC is an equal opportunity employer and employment agency. We are committed to fair, respectful, and nondiscriminatory recruiting and employment practices.

Our hands on approach includes treating applicants, employees, and people we refer for opportunities with dignity. Decisions should reflect lawful, job related considerations, not stereotypes or prohibited preferences.

We are committed to complying with applicable federal, state, and local laws governing equal employment opportunity, accommodations, harassment, and retaliation.

Nondiscrimination

TeamBuilt Talent does not discriminate in recruiting, referrals, hiring, assignments, or other employment practices based on:

  • Race or color
  • Religion
  • National origin or ancestry
  • Sex, including pregnancy, childbirth, related medical conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity or expression
  • Age, including the federal protections for individuals age 40 and older and applicable state or local protections
  • Disability
  • Genetic information, including family medical history
  • Marital status, height, or weight
  • Past or present uniformed service, an obligation to serve, or other legally protected military or veteran status
  • Citizenship or immigration status where protected by applicable law
  • Any other characteristic or status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law

This commitment also includes compliance with applicable restrictions on the use of arrest information and other records in employment decisions.

Recruiting, Referrals, and Employment Practices

Our equal opportunity commitment applies to recruiting, advertising, screening, interviewing, referrals, hiring, placements, assignments, and employment decisions within our responsibility.

It also applies to compensation, benefits, training, advancement, discipline, termination, and other terms and conditions of employment where TeamBuilt Talent has responsibility for those decisions.

Qualifications and selection requirements must be lawful and relevant to the position. We do not use customer preferences or assumptions about protected characteristics as a substitute for appropriate job requirements.

Working With Client Employers

Equal opportunity is part of our recruiting relationship with client employers. TeamBuilt Talent will not knowingly honor discriminatory requests for candidates, referrals, or assignments.

We work with clients to clarify legitimate position requirements and address concerns that arise during recruiting or an assignment.

A client’s involvement in a hiring decision or control of a worksite does not remove TeamBuilt Talent’s own legal responsibilities. Concerns about discriminatory treatment at a client location may be reported to us.

Reasonable Accommodations

We provide reasonable accommodations as required by applicable law for qualified applicants and employees with disabilities, sincerely held religious beliefs, practices, or observances, and known limitations related to pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions.

Accommodation requests are evaluated individually under the applicable legal standards, including applicable undue hardship standards. We will discuss the need and potential effective options rather than assume that the same approach fits every situation.

If you need assistance with an application, interview, or another part of the recruiting process, contact: Recruiter@teambuilttalent.com .

You do not need to use special legal terminology to request an accommodation. If additional information is needed and permitted by law, we will explain what is required and an appropriate way to provide it.

Do not send medical records or other sensitive documentation through a general website form or ordinary email unless an appropriate submission method has been arranged.

Where a request involves a client worksite, we will coordinate with the appropriate parties as needed while fulfilling our own obligations.

Harassment and Respectful Treatment

TeamBuilt Talent prohibits unlawful harassment, including sexual harassment and harassment based on a protected characteristic.

This commitment applies to interactions involving our staff and to situations involving applicants or employees for which we have responsibility, including concerns reported about client worksites.

We will review reported concerns and take appropriate action within our authority and responsibilities.

Protection Against Retaliation

We prohibit unlawful retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith, opposes discrimination, participates in an investigation or proceeding, requests a reasonable accommodation, or otherwise exercises rights protected by applicable law.

A complaint does not have to be proven for legally protected activity to receive protection against retaliation. Participation in protected proceedings is protected as provided by law.

Report suspected retaliation to our team so the concern can be reviewed.

Employment Authorization and Document Practices

Where employment authorization verification is required, we follow the applicable verification requirements without unlawful discrimination.

We do not request specific employment eligibility documents or more or different documents than required based on a person’s national origin, citizenship, or immigration status.

Citizenship restrictions will not be imposed unless supported by a lawful requirement applicable to the position.

Reporting a Concern

Applicants and employees may report suspected discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or an accommodation concern to: Recruiter@teambuilttalent.com .

If possible, describe what happened, when it happened, the parties involved, and how you prefer to be contacted. You may also raise a concern directly with a TeamBuilt Talent representative.

We will review concerns promptly and impartially and take appropriate action. We will handle information with discretion and limit disclosure where practical but cannot promise absolute confidentiality when review or action requires sharing information.

If a concern involves the person receiving your report, you may contact another TeamBuilt Talent representative or an appropriate enforcement agency.

Your Right to Contact Enforcement Agencies

You are not required to report a concern internally before contacting an appropriate government agency. Internal review does not extend an agency’s filing deadline.

Depending on the concern, resources include:

Nothing in this statement or our website terms restricts protected reporting, participation in an agency proceeding, or other rights under applicable law.
